My name is Mark, and I am originally from Essex County in Southern Ontario, with roots in Windsor and subsequent residence in Kingsville and Leamington. Early in my Christian journey, I became acquainted with notable historical figures who sought deeper understanding of God. I regularly engaged with A. W. Tozer’s “The Pursuit of God,” and systematically examined accounts of religious revivals to discern various approaches to spiritual experience. Influential individuals within religious communities often devoted considerable time to prayer and study, commonly setting aside extended periods in solitude for reading Scripture and devotional materials, and rising early to engage in spiritual disciplines.
I am currently based in the Greater Toronto Area, having relocated from Leamington in Southern Ontario to pursue studies at Central Baptist Seminary, now Heritage Bible College and Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario. I obtained a Bachelor of Theology from Central. Throughout my career, I have cultivated a distinctive blend of skills and experience. I have served as a pastor in both Alberta and Ontario. Additionally, I possess substantial expertise in marketing, encompassing person-to-person and business-to-business engagements, along with experience as a sales trainer and manager. My professional background further includes significant teaching roles in both classroom and field settings.
Over time, I have come to appreciate that what we once deemed important in our early years often diminishes in significance as we grow older. Ultimately, relationships prove to be most meaningful. It is rare to hear individuals express regrets on their deathbed about missed travel opportunities, unpurchased vehicles, or unrealized financial goals. Rather, their reflections and regrets tend to centre on relationships.
